[TowerTalk] one 80m dipole for 3.5 through 4.0 -Reply

I have an old Heathkit remote antenna tuner on my 80
dipole at 110'.  It is basically a dipole cut for the
CW end with a remote turned 1000pf "breadslicer" in
series with the driven leg.  It will cover the whole
band and performs REAL well.  1000pf will work with
a 160M dipole also.  For 80, you could probably
get away with a 500pf.
