I'm no expert, just offering a first impression question about this.
Can you maintain a good shape to the hole in rock?  Shape of the hole is
of some importance too, in order to maintain tipping strength.  If it is
a guyed tower (original post is gone), it only needs to have vertical
and horizontal strength, not anti-tipping grip.  Of course, at 7' it
will have some grip.  I worry about the jaggies on the sides breaking
under tipping forces in the case of a self-support role.
