[TowerTalk] Portable Antennas for Nomadic Winabago People

I have a friend who just purchased a new 33 foot Winabago.  He has a
"screwdriver" antenna mounted and a TS-450.  He is going to Texas and
Arizona after the first of the year and he and I were wondering what other
people used in a "portable" setting?  Do these nomads put up dipoles for a
month or a verticle.  If so, what experience does anyone have concerning this?
