When you buy a Trylon tower you can pay $600 shipping for the assembled
version and $400 for the unassembled version. What is involved in assembly
and how many man hours would it take to assemble a 9 section 72' tower?

Are IIX sidearms compatible with an angle iron tower like the Trylon?

We want to use two side arms. One to mount a uhf/vhf vertical and one as a
dipole end support. Would angle iron work just as well as something like
an IIX sidearm? If using angle iron how do you get the antenna truly
vertical rather than parallel to the side of the tower (for ascetic
reasons)? Use shims? What material?
Thanks, Pete ws4g
