I'd suggest always having reference antennas the same height like a 2 element
quad and the 2 element Raibeam for side by side comparisons. The 2 element
quad and RaiBeam is the "K7GCO Standard of Reference" for all antennas. You
have to beat it to qualify as an antenna worth having on your tower
regardless what the computer says. The cost and headaches of bigger antennas
has to justify themselves in great performance over these 2 to merit their
use. M2 has some that will do that. K7GCO
