The corrosion in the joints is the proof  that a wrong material in the KLM
"conductive" paste created a galvanic current circulation.
All refurbished KLM antennas of my area didn't use any more "conductive"
compounds but rearranged clamps, instead.
Those renewed KLM antennas are lasting longer than before without any sign
of electrical troubles like it sometimes happened before.
