[TowerTalk] Using KT34XA boom on 40 meters

I use the boom and outer elements of a 204BA on 40 meters and it works out 
very well. The boom is Gamma matched at the center near the mast. As I 
recall, I found the 204BA to be self resonant at about 7.8 MHz. My Gamma rod 
is actually a piece of #14 wire that runs from the end of the boom to the 
mast with an insulator at the mast. I was able to match a 50 ohm feedline 
with a series capacitor of about 150 pf. I ended up with less than 2:1 SWR 
from 6.980 to about 7.250 MHz. The 204BA is up at 74 feet.

This arrangement has a very sharp null off each of the boom like a dipole.
