[TowerTalk] NO grip w/Create

TO THE TOWERTALK REFLECTOR
my grip with Create IS NOT their product quality...
that's exceptionally good..
my grip with Create IS NOT that they made 
no offer to replace or repair mine...
their offer was commerically reasonable

My only concern is for other American hams
that also spent $1000. They too are now or someday might 
be in my position to junk the system because CREATE did not 
re-appoint another outlet to support future sales or provide 
an after-sales service facility after EDCO failed.    
PERIOD!!!!!!
  
That's the chance a manufacturer takes when they 
appoint a exclusive distributor rather than make
the product line widely available.

There are probably many well established and respected 
ham equipment outlets who under the the right conditions 
would have picked them up.  But now with no distributors 
and no established repair facility with adaquate parts in this 
large market they will have a difficult job to prove their credibility
when and if they ever again want to market in America.

This is exactly why I subscribe to this and other 
reflectors. Its our responsibility to call it as it is.
