[TowerTalk] HDR 300 in a TriEx LM470

I would like to hear from anyone else who is using an
HDR300 in a TriEx LM470 (or similar tower).  I am not
able to mount the rotator as low down in the tower as
I would like since the side of the rotator sticks out
thru the side of the top section and can not,
therefore, be mounted so far down that it tries to
telescope into the next lower section.

Any solutions?

Any good or bad experiences using it this way?
