Seems we always want to make simple tasks
difficult as in whether to use water assist when
driveing ground rods.
If you live in an area that has no rainfall, ever,
you may want to let the hose run on top of
your water assisted driven ground rod.
Dirt flows down hill as with most things. As a result your ground rod is
not going to be suspended in a cave but will shortly become
embedded in the earth, soil, ground with few voids and without beating the
top to death with a mallet or purchaseing special tools.
