[TowerTalk] antenna configuration

Hello all
I am in the process of getting tower up
I want to put 4x11 ele chushcraft beams. Previously
I put them in an H frame configuration at 79 inches apart
which is what cushcraft recomends this is a nice compact
arrangement and they took some good winds here at approx 1800asl
they also performed very good.
 Due to boom length reccommendations for my tower and stress
on tower I  was thinking about changing configuration
to a  " + " type, this way torque should be less as only 2 antennas
in the horizontal from the mast wud be less than four.
 anyone have any info or tips for me using thease antennas? I know they
are old but i am very satified so far with their performance. I have had 
them for over 15 years.
What are pattern differences from "H" to "+" if any??
should I get same gain as I did in "H" configuration using same spacing
of 79" in the "+" or do I need to change spacings??
