[TowerTalk] MFJ Tuners

Hi Guys,

I'm ready for a tuner in my shack for my 100W rig for my dipoles which are
fed with coax.

I had my eye on the MFJ 949E Versa Tuner II, which I was told uses a L
matching network.

A ham friend just got the MFJ 945E Mobil Tuner. He said he can tune all the
way down to 40M with his 9 foot mobil whip. He thought if it's that good it
should be great on 10-160M with wire antennas. He said it has a T matching
network which is better than the L match of the 949E.

I'm not sure if he correct about the matching networks.

And since I am using coax and not ladder line and the 945E is 20 bucks less,
I would like to know what you think of it.

Hope you guys can give me some advise.
