[TowerTalk] antenna configuration

I didn't see an answer to the question about stacking 4 X 11 el 2m beams in 
an X configuration. K6STI wrote a QST article on this very subject within the 
past 3 or 4 years and would be a good starting point for the answer. The 
short answer is that it does work.

The old Cushcraft 11-el yagi was very popular back in the 70's but there are 
much better performing antennas available now. A single longer yagi such as 
the M2 12-el or even better, the 17-el yagi, will equal or exceed the 
performance of the stacked 11-el yagis and with a much lower wind load 
considering the H-frame is not needed. This can free up tower capacity for 
other bands or give your tower a little higher wind survival.
