Hi Jim,

Just as there are 12 inches in a foot, there are 12
inch-pounds in a
foot-pound.  So if you know how many inch-pounds you have,
divide by
12 to get foot-pounds.  (I am assuming [sometimes a
dangerous thing .
. . ] that you really mean in-lb to ft-lb rather than in/lb
to ft/lb,
but even if you really meant it the way you wrote it, the
conversion
is the same:  divide by 12.)
