Hi Paul,
I recently took down a KT34XA adfter about 10 years of great service. The
20 section went to 3:1 and 10/15 even though good SWR were poor performers
as of late.

I solved my problem by going to the C36XR, which gives me a good 40 meter
signal and 10,15, and 20. (Have a T-8 for WARC). My comparison of the XA
would involve comparing with the T-8 (which is about one half the height
75'Vs 40').

IMO, the C36XR is superior to the XA on 10 and 15 and slightly less on 20
meters. Even when the XA was new, I never was real happy with reports on
the 15 meter portion. This opinion is after some comparative analysis with
the T-8. I might add I am very happy with the 40 meter portion of the 36XR.
