MaxGain has 2" fiberglass tubing.

I am using it for loading coils for big verticals. Slice the aluminum tubing 
(2" ID), insert the fiberglass piece, I use self supporting copper tubing 
coils, which I clamp their ends to end of tubing with hose clamps. You end up 
with good Q of coil (air) and have enough strength to hold the resto f the 
element. You could use some plastic containers to cover the coils to keep the 
Indiana ice away from the turns.
Otherwise there might be some larger diameter fiberglass among the pole 
vaulters.
