OK My turn. I have the original tear sheets for the York 5000 if anyone
would like a copy. Just drop me an SASE.
Also called the Brown Bomb. This rig used a pair of 4-1000 and the window
was glass. The chrome plated steel chassis was a beut, and there was even
one that had 4 tubes. That one was in a 30" wide rack, and was later
modified to a single ceramic tube, probably the first of it's kind. 4
blowers, Ceramic vacuum caps, silver coils, 2 x 28A Variacs, OZ packs,
Simpson Wide-Vue meters, silicone caps and choke, 4 x Jennings vac relays
and LC connectors.
