[TowerTalk] antenna facts and fiction

I am collecting "common knowledge" facts about antennas that we generally
consider to be true but in reality are false for a program I am trying to
put together for presentation at Ham-Com '01 next June.  I am also looking
for facts that are true but usually considered false.  I already have a
number of items in each category but would like to get as much as I can.  If
anyone can help me out, please e-mail the "fact" to me direct...please do
not post them here.
