That's the problem, as I see it.  You can say it is safe all you want.
You can say it hasn't been proven unsafe all you want (and you'll be
right).  But the fact is, we haven't had cell phones nearly long enough
to prove that out.  It will take most of a generation in time before
anyone can make an even fractionally accurate statement as to the long
term safety of microwave rf exposure to the human head/body.  Before
that, it is all hype.  The fact is, we just don't know.  No one does.
So until then, take precautions or prepare for the worst and be relieved
when/if nothing bad happens to you.
