Just checked an auto parts catalog and this one lists Hardy
discīs in BMW, FORD (European), Mercedes, Opel and Volvo
cars, my catalog doesnīt cover Japanese cars.
      The cheapest ones are for BMW 315, 316, 318, 320, 323, 518
and 520, 525, FORD Sierra, Scorpio and Granada, they just
      costs $25 brand new.
What one also could do is to mount a U-joint in conjunction
with the Hardy-disc then you donīt need to get things exactly
centered, works like a charm for me.
If you go to a junk yard Iīm sure one can obtain this stuff for
free and then you just have to apply some mecanical skill to
      get it working.

PS: These rubber discīs are almost exclusivly used in manual
transmission cars, so thatīs what you have to look for.

A rubber shock absorber, captured between steel flanges, normally found
in
the driveshaft of rear-drive cars. Sudden shock loads are spread out
through the resilience of the rubber, reducing the change of damaged
rotator gears. Requires some machine work, typically, to put it in the
"driveline" of your rotator, but some, like Dave Leeson, swear by them.
His came out of a BMW, but lower cost solutions seem to be appearing
now...
