[TowerTalk] Telescoping Mast

I have a TELE-TOW'R Model 55 Breakover tower that I purchased in 1978. The 
3/16" aircraft cable used to telescope the mast finally broke. As far as I 
can determine they are now out of business now and I need instructions on how 
to get the mast apart so that I can replace the cable.

It looks similar, almost identical, to the US TOWER MA-550 Tubular Tower. 
However, when I ask US TOWER for help, I was informed they only sell towers 
not service them.

Does anyone know how to replace the cable?
