I use the AC power winch from Superwinch Corp on my 72foot US Tower.
It works flawlessly, although it is not meant to be used outdoors so I keep
a cover on the motor.

Does anyone have any experience using an electric winch (like those on the 
front of a pick up truck) for raising and lowering a tower?  If so, any 
problems?
