[TowerTalk] Telephone Pole

Polyphaser, among others, say to avoid wood poles.  I guess
that of the "trillion" poles only a handful have vertical and/or
horizontal lightning-attractive antennas on them ... also only
a handful do not have proper and massive lightning dissipation
networks of thousands of miles of wire and thousands of ground
rods connected to them.

One key concern was that the absence of the natural metal tower
path to ground means that static and lightning will necessarily be
directed into the radio room ... ouch!
