[TowerTalk] A "good deal"

Please, no shouting.  It makes it hard to read.

I would think that most would acknowledge that a 2 el quad and a 3 element
yagi are very similar in performance in most respects.  The largest
differences in similar numbers of elements seem to occur with the 2 element
versions.  Construction of the quad can be complicated and there is lots of
supporting structure which adds to the weight but of itself provides no
gain.  Nothing new here.

My question is about this Rai-Beam.  I have seen very little on this antenna
and no good quality photos.  What little I have seen looks like yagi type
elements with gamma matches on them.  If it is similar to the yagi
construction, how are you telling EZNEC that it is different enough to get
real world, observable, gain advantages over most yagi construction?  Where
can I find Good info on this Rai-Beam antenna?  Length, construction and
Good Photos?
