Mark,

I use a baseplate-mounted tower too.  A big advantage of this kind of
mounting is that you don't need J-bolts...just a guide bolt in the center.
The tower won't move once it's up.  An added benefit is that it will rotate
and self-align to equalize the stresses applied by the guys.

Texas Towers and National Tower have all the tower hardware you'll need.
