In a past life I was the project engineer for the installation of a
microwave system that would replace junction cables and link the 13
telephone exchanges in Cairo.  We installed M/W towers on the top of
each exchange. In doing so it was necessary to place these towers on the
roof locations that would take the load.

The first thing we did was to contact a architect that would examine at
the building plans and determine the spot on the flat roof that would
most likely take the load.  This was largely based on a bearing wall
being just below the chosen location. In addition a base was designed to
spread the load across the required area.  This varied from building to
building.

I would not even begin to think of installing such a tower without
PROFESSIONAL HELP.
Such help will allow you sleep a lot easier at night. (In addition the
tower is likely to stay where you put it!)
