    As long as the load is near the top of the tower (i.e. one foot above the 
thrust bearing/tower top or less), then just about anything will work. It's 
only when you've got loads higher on the mast that the yield strength means 
anything because then you've got a *much* larger bending moment and the 
forces go up dramatically.
