I am not the mentioned "Mr. Anonymous", but when you see a
car hanging from it's bumper at the 15 foot level of a guy
wire you no longer worry about what "Mother Nature" throws at
20 year old guy wires.

I have been a Power Lineman for 20 years. You see a lot of
foolish 
driving over that span of time :-(
