Hello Jeff
I had a 20ft push up mast with an 80 meter dipole on it up here for a while.
I used regular T post like you use to put up fence on farms and such ( I
live in the boonies hehe).
This mast was guyed with cheap guy wire from Radio Shack and it stayed up
until a killer hail storm came thru several years ago. The T posts held as
did the guy wires but the mast didn't it snapped in the middle below the
first set of guys.I should also mention that the same storm took half the
roof of my front deck.
I don't know how much the dual band vertical will add to the wind loading (
not much I would guess), but the T posts are cheap and you can get them at
almost any bigg hardware store. Around here they run about $1.79. YOu also
need a post driver to put them in about $10 to $20
