Have you tried heating the area with a butane tourch? This will
sometimes get you started. Another method I once used when I was
absolutely desparate was to buy a lot of dry ice, and freeze the
sections there, then heat the outer one.

I seriously doubt there is a very good RF connection there.

Be careful with the dry ice. Wear thick gloves.
