[TowerTalk] 12 Feet of Alcoa T651 Solid Aluminum Useful?

I came upon a couple of lengths of Alcoa T165 solid
aluminum pipe at a metal recycler/dealer when looking
for something else.  It was marked $56. for a 12 foot
length.

Any reason I would want to take a second look?  Sure
would make a too-heavy-but-indestructible mast!  ;-)
