[TowerTalk] Bow and Arrow for getting line over trees

I quit using a bow and arrow on the day that I made a "wonderful" shot just
in the right place over a 100' fir tree on my city lot. Then I discovered
the line had broken allowing the arrow to go way, way up. The wind took it
over into my neighbors front lawn. As I got near the arrow for retrieval,
the neighbors little boy came running out the front door to the arrow! Of
course I had made sure that no one was outside
in the area before shooting. Still, it was unnerving to say the least.
Whatever method used be very
cautious. The lead weight may wrap itself around a tree limb and when
pulling the line to free it, it may hurtle toward the puller so stand way
back by letting out line. I have sunk a lead weight several inches into the
ground.
