When you consider all the things that can and do go wrong,  what is the
sense of saving a few bucks at the risk of life and limb.  Hire a
professional tree trimmer to permanently mount a rope and pulley right where
you want it.  It will cost a lot less than paying for the neighbors kid with
an arrow or lead weight through his head.  It has always amazed be how hams
will try to save a hundred bucks at the risk of losing hundreds of thousands
or worse.
