Hi Ted - you are quite correct - the product has become less available -
for the simple reason that the demand has decreased and the "copies" have
increased. 
The reduction in demand is due, in great part, to LMR400, which is a huge
success, not yet duplicated by anything else. 9913 was never made with as
good a jacket, or with as low of a risk of failure due to improper
installation as LMR 400. Even our p/n101, with more braid and a true NCV
jacket could not compare with the LMR400 in longevity - only in price and
loss.
The "air dielectric" type of coax is still a great product when properly
installed, but it will always be subject to the vagaries of inept use,
like so many products that are incorrectly blamed for failure.
Technology in the field changes every day in this business, however -
stay tuned!
