Hi all,

Isn't it just this simple?

I want to get a good connection between two pieces of tubing, one
which slides inside another. I want to clean :

The inside of the larger tube (for the overlap distance)

&

The outside of the smaller tube (for the overlap distance).

Then, when I slip them together (with NoAlOx) there's a metal-to-
metal connection at the joint. I don't believe there's any need to
clean any of the rest of the outside or inside of the tubes. (Unless
I'm going to polish them and gold-plate them. Remember that
thread? 8>)
