I don't know everything that the software spoken of does, but you can do a
fair amount without it, and your effort will be free. I have good results
with the following:
A. Put the header on the body of the spam in an outgoing msg.
B. Put SPAM in the subject line of the outgoing msg.
C. Send a copy to your ISP, and Postmaster at the originating domain (just
write Postmaster@xxxx.yyyy. X and Y of course being the domain names).
An alternative is to send to a specific spam fighter email address at your
ISP, if they have one. Many do.
