[TowerTalk] What Rotors Run on DC? Swap for One?

I have a T2X rotor and control box in good condition but
wish to swap it for one of similar specs that uses a DC rather
than an AC motor.  Suggestions, please?

Also, what are the advantages and disadvantages of AC versus 
DC motors in a rotor, if there are any worth mentioning?
