N4KG rule #1:

There is nothing STRONGER, SAFER, 
and more COST EFFECTIVE than a
properly guyed tower.

N4KG rule #2:

ANY guy is better than NO guy.

My guyed towers and antennas all survived
estimated 80 to 90 mph winds from a small
tornado that took out dozens of 80 ft trees
in my woods and a couple of 75 year olds
(Oak and Beech).

3/16 inch EHS steel guys are rated for 4000 lbs.
3/16 inch HS steel guys are rated for 2500 lbs.
3/16 EHS is  what I use for all 7 of my towers 
except the upper guys on my 95 and 130 ft towers.
(For years I only had 1/8 inch guys on a 40 ft tower
with TH7 and it also survived the tornado.)
