I am planning to build a new home and the covenants actually permit me to
erect a tower up to 50 feet. The trouble is that I do not know where to
begin. I would like to pour the base at the same time as the house
foundation. My legal advice says that it would be best to have the tower
base part of the same foundation as the home so as not to constitute a
"separate structure" which possibly could be objected to.
I would appreciate any advice or better yet a knowledgeable person that
could
answer questions as they might arise.
I live on the east coast of Florida near Daytona Beach about 3 miles from
the ocean. I would like the tower to be a crankup so I could lower it under
high wind conditions. My thoghts were something on the order of a multiband
yagi such as a Force12 C4. I was considering ALUMA tower but I have no
experience upon which to rely.
Any help would be appreciated. Please reply to my email address as I know
this is basic info and I don't wish to annoy others.
