[TowerTalk] I've got the bug

Through some antenna trading, I have acquired the spider for a Gem quad.  I
cannot adequately compare my now-departed ancient tribander @ 40' with the
virtues of a quad without having spreaders to string the wire.  Where do I
find spreaders? Can I use wooden dowels? Did I make a big mistake?  [My
trading partner buys me lunch now and then, and lets me use his 6 over 6
array during CQWW, in case you are wondering about the motivation.]
