I bought a two year old 68 foot rohn tiltover last fall. I love it.

This one came with cables, screw-in anchors, loose gauge (for tensioning
guys), heavy duty winch (this is a yacht winch not a $15 menards boat
winch!), thrust bearing, rotor bracket, blueprints, big grips, egg
insulators for guys, 20' of 2" heavy aluminum mast, and lots of
encouragement.

I paid $600 for the lot. Collecting little pieces of rohn is one thing
($25 -$35 per section is a general norm for sections with good plating).
Buying it standing up and 10 years old is another. I bought a new bolt kit
from Texas towers for a couple bucks a section even though the hardware was
all there. The tiltover section base was another $100 new.

Considering the kit from just about anybody is going to be about $2,500 to
$2,800 (with shipping) new (including the hardware), finding one in a garage
ready to load into your pickup will eliminate about a days worth of
work--perhaps $300 value.

Value is in the eyes of the beholder. If you want that kind of system, new
but used means anything less than $2500 (less the hardware you have to buy
to complete it) may be a bargain. Considering a 20 year life, pro-rate it
from there. Pick a number and try to talk the owner out of it.
