dig through the archives to find a post form W0UN about how he would watch
the storms get near his mega antenna farm in Colorado and the hits would
stop til the storm moved past and they would start again...
It seems that a well grounded tower does dissipate some of the nasty stuff!
I cannot understand his fear - would he rather the lightning hit his poorly
conductive chimney than your tower?
He probably thinks it is ugly, too...stand your guns!
