[TowerTalk] RE: Short ground systems for verticals

Guys,

I've read the "good book" about designing a quality ground system for
verticals, so my question: I have very little space to install a vertical,
but really want to try one for 80/40 meters. Has anyone tried/experimented
with a "tuned" ground system? In another words, using really short ground
radials using maybe inductors to "tune" them to the appropriate frequencies?
