Hello, all -

This is clearly a subject that needs some solid input.  How about some
references for published journal studies that have withstood peer
review.  Let's see the methodology and the results.

So far, we've seen a lot of opinion, speculation, and just plain
mythology, the last being a nice word for plain old you-know-what.
