How does one go about replacing the mounting bolts
on one of these rotors? They look like 1/4" carriage
bolts that are pinched in to the casting. Anyone had
any success getting them out without breaking things?
What's the best way of sealing in new bolts to keep them
from falling back into the housing? Silicone perhaps?
Also, is there any way to easily convert it over from (for
lack of a better term) a clack-clack rotor, to something I
can control a lil better? I realize it might be easier to just
fork over for a new light-duty unit with syncronized motors,
but I have a half dozen of these things in my shop, and would
like to get some use out of them (2m antennas).
tnx,
Rich, KA8OKH
