[TowerTalk] "Elephant Antenna" stories?

I bought an AL80A about three years ago and put it on
my sailboat. It has not been a problem.

Other than that, every stinking piece of gear I have
ever gotten from MFJ has been a problem. Even the
large digital clocks (bought three) failed
(unrepairably) within the first year. Even one of the
two Cantennas I bought was screwed up. The digital
filter was junk, as was the contest keyer, etc etc.

If I ever lose my mind and buy another piece of MFJ
junk please just take me out back and shoot me in
order save me a lot of trouble.

In my experience and IMHO, MFJ is the worst
manufacturer to ever soil the ham radio community.
