[TowerTalk] CB to 10 meter antenna

Hi Tom,

I believe that those were called "Super Scanners" and they used
a switch box with quarter-wave pieces of coax to change the phase
on the feedlines. This enabled the operator to electronically switch
direction of the signal.

One of the locals here uses one of these antennas on ten meters
with great success, and I don't think that he has modified the antenna
in any way. They look weird, but seem to work.
