[TowerTalk] 80m Vertical from Rohn 25

I've somehow accumulated a number of Rohn 25 sections the past couple of 
years and have decided I'd like to build a dedicated, 1/4-wave, 75/80 meter 
vertical from it.  The only major problem I need to deal with is that I would 
like to insulate it from ground and discovered I can't afford the 
factory-insulated section which Rohn offers at around $1000.

Any chance any of you might have some experience with this ?   I have a few 
thoughts on how to "homebrew" an insulated base section, but am very 
concerned about doing it in a safe and reliable manner.  Finished vertical 
will be 60' of guyed, Rohn 25, with a short section of aluminum  tubing at 
the top to adjust for center frequency.
