By all means. The critical thing is NOT to run the tram to a point up on
the mast without a back-stay. The pull on the mast can be huge. I know a
guy who bent a perfectly decent piece of steel mast that way, and then had
a devil of a time getting it down. Far better to rig a separate block on
the mast and use it to pull the antenna straight up after it is in close to
the tower.
