When we put the 2 element 80 meter beam up on W7IVX's 180 footer, we used
a tram line, but had 2 back guys on it. We had a block at the bottom of
the tower and another block at the top of the tower. We ran a line up
through the bottom block, through the top one and then down the tram
line. We used a tractor to pull it to the top and when at the top, used
a come-along to put it up on the mast. Worked slick. But the back-guys
are a must!! 73
